Concerned Citizens For Truth (CCFT)

For those who feel we need to get back to the basics as was intended by the Founders of this great Republic, we invite you to examine the charter statement of a grassroots organization founded by Bill Randall.  Note:  The original charter was established in 2004 (in Wisconsin). This charter was issued in North Carolina in March 2009.

Articles of Truth

We believe:

I.  We affirm that we will be free as long as this nation maintains its subordination under Divine Authority as attested to by the exhaustive documentation penned by our founding fathers, and the patriots that succeeded them.  We further maintain that historical documents germane to our basic liberties should be studied, and diligently taught to our posterity.  We resist historical revisionism, and deny that outside entities have the right to usurp our three-branch system of government via any form that attempts to circumvent their inherent authority and/or impedes due process as established by the U.S. Constitution;

II.  With the witness of exhaustive documentation to support the same, we affirm that the United States of America was founded by men and women who believed that the creation of this nation involved Divine providence, rather than solely attributable to human effort devoid of Divine guidance.  We further affirm that foremost among the transcendent values is the individual's use of his or her God-given free will, from whence is derived such person’s right to be free from the restrictions of arbitrary force, unreasonable constraints, or unlawful outside intervention to restrict individual freedom that is not allowed at the expense of another’s;

III.  We affirm that liberty and freedom are indivisible, and that political freedom cannot long exist without economic freedom.  We further attest that true economic and sociological freedom must be supported by sound, factual, unbiased and well-rounded education;

IV.  We affirm that our three branches of government are ultimately servants of the citizens they represent, and are their conduct must be above reproach in light of the established articles of the U.S. Constitution;

V.  We affirm that government’s purpose is to protect its citizens’ unalienable rights and freedoms through the establishment and preservation of internal order, the provision of national defense, and the administration of justice objectively in accordance with the spirit and intent of the U.S. Constitution-- without bias or a predisposed position;

VI.  We affirm that the Supreme Court is the only Constitutionally-prescribed and protected judicial entity.  We further affirm and appreciate it and other courts subordinate to it, for their vital role of fairly and equitably determining the spirit and intent of the law (in light of the U.S. Constitution).  This appreciation for the judiciary will remain steadfast for any and all who operate as strict constructionists (i.e.: those who strictly interpret the law, not make the law).  We deny that the judiciary should operate beyond their delegated scope of jurisprudence;

VII.  We affirm that our Legislative branch has the responsibility to craft and clearly articulate laws exclusive to and consistent with the spirit and intent of the U.S. Constitution.  We further affirm that the Legislature should disestablish wayward judiciary at their pleasure.  We adamantly affirm that any decision to exercise proactive measures (judicial disestablishment, censure or impeachment) must be entered into with great deliberation and commensurate to the level of concern from the constituents represented, and to the level of offense exhibited by any wayward member of the three branches of government.  We also strongly affirm that it is irresponsible for the Legislative branch to remain passive to avoid unpopularity, for political gain or expedience, or to avoid any necessary proactive measure when any legislative, executive or judicial member/official (when borne out through Constitutional due process) clearly betrays the public trust by abusing the power and/or authority vested in them;

VIII.  We affirm that the Constitution of the United States is the best arrangement yet devised for empowering government to fulfill its proper role, while restraining it from the concentration and abuse of power.  We further affirm and welcome any entity that desires to invoke its rights under the U.S. Constitution if same entity is desirous of abiding by the final determination of the same constitutional process once the appellate process is exhausted;

IX.  We affirm that the market economy, equitably allocating resources by the free play of supply and demand, is the single economic system compatible with the requirements of personal freedom and constitutional government, and that it is at the same time the most productive supplier of human needs.  We further affirm that when government interferes with the work of the market economy, it tends to reduce the moral and physical strength of the nation.  We deny that government should operate on the tenant of taking from one person to bestow on another, for this diminishes the incentive of the first, the integrity of the second, and the moral autonomy of both;

X.  We affirm that the national sovereignty of the United States is to be maintained without compromise; that history shows periods of freedom are rare, and can exist only when free citizens concertedly defend their rights against all enemies: foreign and domestic.  We further affirm that United States foreign policy must be judged solely by the following criterion: “Does this policy serve the just interests of the United States?”  We deny that the United States of America should engage in any dialogue that considers the Global opinion at the expense of our nation’s best interests (or our economic and/or physical security).

XI.  We affirm that the genius of the Constitution, the division of powers, is summed up in the clause that reserves primacy to the several states, or to the people, in those spheres not specifically delegated to the Federal government, and that government officials are to be held to a high standard of accountability because they are expected to never betray the public trust.  We further affirm that it is essential for our citizens to adamantly protect the essence of our liberties as articulated in the Preamble to the United States Constitution;

XII.  Finally, we, as Concerned Citizens for Truth (CCFT), affirm that this grass roots organization will be strictly non-partisan.  As such, we will endeavor to objectively enlighten our nation’s citizens on any person, group, doctrine, law, organization, entity or entities who promote, distort or suppress the historical and/or contemporary objectives established and maintained in the United States Constitution.  Outside endorsement of our organization will not be sought.  Any official position of CCFT (subsequent to this initial charter) will be made by the National Chairman, under the advisement of a governing board of five members in concert with recommendations from our Board of Directors of twelve independent, not-for-profit organizations whose governing ethos is compatible with the basic CCFT charter statement.  CCFT will make such assessments via fair, unbiased and objective review processes.  We welcome and support all who wholeheartedly subscribe to CCFT fundamental tenants of affirmation without guile or hypocrisy.

Adopted and accepted this 1st day of March, in the year Two-Thousand, nine.
